The images in “One Moment Please” are a visual exploration and representation of the feeling of disconnection that happens when you are situated outside of the social milieu, either through choice or ostracization. In the images I have created costumes from old clothes that I have sewn together and, along with props, I have created a scene of confusion where isolated figures (these images are self-portraits) wear unruly clothes, strange masks and share space with disembodied heads. They enact moves within this surreal and personal space of discombobulation. It is a one moment of strangeness before a return to regular, professional life.
